Welcome to Newmeadow Saratoga School. With sites in Malta and Queensbury, New York, the school’s focus since 1982 has been preschool children with special needs, and the majority are in integrated programs. Emphasis is on development of academic and behavior goals and readiness for school and the world beyond. All improve, many dramatically, as the staff of 90 devotes its attention to 130 special and 30 nursery school children.

Newmeadow provides speech therapy, occupational and physical therapy, and psychology services. The teaching staff is all master level.

The school’s BRIDGES autism program was the first in the region to use applied behavior analysis. Begun in 1996, BRIDGES has developed into an accomplished program. ABA teaching techniques are employed throughout the school.
Sixty children with autism attend the school, a testament to many parents who search, study, and observe before they choose. BRIDGES is driven by data and directed by a behavior analyst.  Its success is measured by the more than 50% with autism moving on to kindergarten.

ABA helps make Newmeadow unique. High standards are matched by talented teachers. The children rise to the expectation and love the structure. We believe this is what a school should be.
